Tesco Distribution Centre Daventry​

​With more supermarkets than anyone else in the UK Tesco need to have a strategically placed and modern distribution warehouses to keep pace with demand for goods!

Tesco distribution centre in Teesport Middleborough is the largest contract undertaken by Tesco. The state of the art life safety system designed and installed by Leader needed to be carefully designed to take account of the massive open areas to be protected as well as the height which reached 35.4m.

Over the past 5 years Leader has successfully installed systems into all new Tesco distribution centres from Livingston Scotland to the newest one at DIRFT near Rugby known as Project Lion.

The DIRFT development located next to junction 16 of the M1 has proven to be an important development area for Leader.

Securing the original warehousing contract with Eddie Stobart at the end of the nineties we have subsequently completed installations at various distribution centres including three for Tesco as well as the major DC for the Post Office.
