Vigilon Panel
Gent by Honeywell’s Vigilon system is the most comprehensive life safety system available in the market today. The combination of the powerful software in the control panel and the intelligent loop powered devices delivers a flexible, easy to use system for all types of buildings.
The Vigilon system offers a complete range of control panels that can be installed as standalone panels from 1 to 6 loops or as part of multi-panel networks. A system that can meet the needs of a building today and in the future.
Vigilon Compact Panel
Gent by Honeywell’s Vigilon Compact Control Panel is a one or two loop panel accommodating up to 200 devices per loop, with the capability of networking with other Compact or Vigilon Panels.
Multiple panel networks can be programmed seamlessly as one system, allowing for flexible design and total system management.
The LCD display allows clear indication of fire or fault location and site specific fire plans can be programmed to meet the evacuation needs of the building.
Nano Panel
Nano is the latest fire detection control panel from Gent by Honeywell. Ideal for smaller sites that require advanced fire sensing and evacuation options, the single loop, analogue addressable panel offers end users a compact system backed by the power of Vigilon loop technology. Certified to EN 54 parts 2 & 4 the standard panel is self contained with batteries to maintain 24-hour standby.
Providing far greater fire detection capabilities than most small systems, Nano is compatible with Gent by Honeywell’s range of multi-function, loop-powered devices, which reduce system complexity and cost.
Loop Devices
S-Quad
The innovative S-Quad range of multi-sensors combines the most advanced sensing technologies with alarm functionality. Fires are detected using a range of sensing elements; heat, smoke and CO. Using patented dual angle optical scatter S-Quad offers reliable detection and enhanced false alarm reduction.
In addition, each variant of S-Quad is available as a sensor sounder and many with strobe or voice enhanced function. This makes S-quad ideal for providing a safe and effective alarm system with simple compliance with the needs of the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act).
Use of programmable sensitivity states means S-Quad can be configured to address specific known risks such as steam and dust, allowing it to significantly reduce potential false alarms.
This unique range also offers significant cost savings; with up to four separate functions in one device (sensor, sounder, strobe and speech) means less cabling is required than with separate devices.
S-Cubed
Gent’s low-current S-Cubed range incorporates a sounder, strobe and voice sounder in one device. Advanced loop powered technology means that S-Cubed is the most efficient loop powered sounder in the industry where a whole loop of sounders could be powered without the need for additional power supplies.
The S-Cubed range is available in red and white housings, and the strobe colour is available in red, white and amber.
The sounders provide a high sound output and volume may be adjusted during commissioning or at any time with a hand held infrared “HandiLink” controller.
S-Cubed sounder range is available with a number of options for ingress protection up to IP55 and all S-Cubed sounder devices are all compliant with EN 54 Part 3.
Beam Detectors
Gent by Honeywell’s S-Quad Beam Sensors provides an enhanced solution for linear beam detection for applications where point detection is either not practical or economic.
Powered and controlled via the loop, the beam is a market leading device with features such as ‘one man alignment and commissioning’ which is achieved using the auto gain setting, this ensure the optimum alignment is reached.
Maintenance of the beam is enhanced with a key operated test feature which simulates the obscuration of the beam in a fire. The Gent loop powered beam is certified to EN54 parts 12 and 17.
