Sometimes conventional fire detection just wont do the job such as applications in large underground car parks where to install point source heat detection just isn’t cost effective.

Linear Heat Cables follow the same route that cable connecting to single point heat detectors would have to take but rather than install 100’s of point heat detectors detection takes place along the entire length of the cable.

Using analogue technology fires can be detected zonally at any point on the cable plus the system can be reset rather than having to replace any cable that has been triggered making routine maintenance as simple as testing point source detectors.
