Marks & Spencer HQ Project

Leader Systems Special Projects have secured the contract to replace the fire detection at the M&S HQ building in Paddington London and also install a new PAVA system allowing them to implement a multiphase evacuation strategy.

The new 28 loop Advanced Electronics MX5 Pro rack mounted panel will control approaching 2000 Apollo Discovery sensors of which 1000 have been specially painted to match the metallic silver ceiling they are mounted on.

The newly installed PAVA system will eventually replace the existing PA and will be based around a 28 zone Baldwin Boxall Rack utilising upwards of 1000 specially finished Penton ceiling and wall mounted speakers.

The project which gets under way in June 15 is expected for completion by December 15 and will be installed completely outside of normal operating hours to minimise any disruption to M&S operations during the works.
